Hilary Adair RE

Hilary Adair studied Painting at St.Martin’s School of Art and Printmaking at Brighton College of Art. She lives on Exmoor in Somerset and also has close connections with Greece, where her first solo exhibition was presented by the British Council in Athens. She has carried out commissions for prints and paintings and has exhibited in solo and group shows world-wide, her work being held in many public and private collections. Elected to the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers in 1987, she regularly shows prints at their Bankside Gallery in London. Themes that prevail in her etchings and linocuts are landscape, gardens ,Greece and evocative imagery  found in poems and music.
