SAW's primary sources for core funding are from the public sector and memberships. We also realised the wealth of resources and expertise that other businesses can offer. In 2010, we launched our Corporate Friends Scheme for organisations who wish to support and work with the artists of Somerset. We offer three levels of benefit, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Through the Scheme, SAW is developing greater partnership with businesses to help putting art in the heart of Somerset's cultural landscape.

Bruton School for Girls is Somerset’s only girls’ school and has a reputation as the top school in the county. For many girls, a single-sex education is the best option and Bruton’s pupils set high standards academically and personally.
At Bruton, every opportunity is open only to girls and self-belief, independence and enjoyment of learning are encouraged. Free to be themselves, girls learn with confidence in an atmosphere that nurtures the very best in each individual.
Bruton is a ‘thinking school’, a community based on mutual respect, where pupils find many opportunities to develop leadership, responsibility and social skills. Anyone visiting the school will see on display plenty of evidence of the impressive standards achieved in Art.
Fees are competitively modest and offer good value. Scholarships and Governors’ Exhibitions are available. The school’s bus services cover surrounding areas of Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset.
Visitors are welcome at any time and taster days are offered when you can sample what is on offer without commitment. To find out more, visit www.brutonschool.co.uk or call 01749 814400.
