  • Company of Voices - Making Matters

    This is an intergenerational project that aims to bring young (under 25s) and older (over 50) people together to engage in positive activities that benefit their local community.

    The Company of Voices is a cross-sector partnership which will promote cohesion in communities so that older and younger people can improve the extent to which they:

  • ProjectTaunton

    Taunton Deane Borough Council has commissioned a Connectivity + Legibility Study to create guidance to improve and enhance way-finding and ensure a coordinated approach to public art across Taunton town centre. Sue Palmer has been appointed as lead artist to work with public art adviser Diana Hatton.

  • Reveal

    'Reveal' is a working partnership between Brewhouse Visual Arts, Somerset Art Works and Somerset Film - all members of Somerset Art Promoters and Thrive Somerset. 'Reveal' aims to raise the profile of visual arts and media across the county by active collaboration. 'Reveal' welcomes participation from all.

  • Triparks

    Triparks was set in three different rural places, defined by political boundaries: Dartmoor, Exmoor and Northumberland National Parks. 


    Each place is distinctive, and the project opened a window onto the differences and similarities of working and living within these protected landscapes.

    Sue Palmer has been commissioned to produce sound and video pieces to go on the Web and hand held PDAs. She is exploring migratory and transitory paths made by humans and non-humans across the Neroche landscape.

  • Neroche Landscape Project

     Michael Fairfax is the lead artist on the Blackdown Hills Neroche Landscape Project hosted by the Forestry Commission. He helped to formulate a Creative Arts Strategy. He looked at ways of utilising the materials from the deforestation programme, and how artists can record the changes occuring on the Blackdown Hills over the next twenty five years.
